On January 7, 2009 FEMA agreed to allow Park Model Manufactured Homes in Cameron, Louisiana.

(1/8/09) The Silver Lining Challenge is to have every needed FEMA disaster housing unit installed in Cameron and occupied by the end of January, 2009. (As of January 24, very few houses have been installed by FEMA. While it was possible, the challenge was unfortunately not met.)

Our foundation is working closely with Cameron Parish Officials to coordinate the effort.
